In the investigation of Cevzet Soysal, who was abducted in Batman in 1998 allegedly being member of Turkiye's Hizbullah and murdered in the rural area of Beşiri district, 2 active-duty and 2 retired police officers were taken into custody while 2 other police officers who were arrested before because of being member of FETO, are involved in the investigation.
According to the information, Batman Chief Public Prosecutor sent a letter to the Antalya Security Directorate under the investigation initiated, asked 1 retired, totally 2 police officers to be taken into custody. Cops taken into custody will be sent to Batman after the health check.
On the other hand, it was learned that two more police officers, one of whom was retired, were also taken into custody and two police officers detained due to FETO, were involved in the investigation. (ILKHA)
