Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım met with the British Prime Minister Theresa May in Downing Street.

Yıldırım, who was in the media before the interview, reminded May's visit to Turkiye at the beginning of this year, stated that the visit paves the way for new collaborations and investment opportunities, including the defense industry.

Yıldırım said, "We will consider regional issues, including our bilateral relations and Iraq and Syria, especially the fight against terrorism."

Stating that relations with Turkiye are very important for them, May said, "We are partnering with various global issues, fighting with terrorism, we have a trading volume of 15 billion sterling, and I am delighted to see the development of our relations since our visit to Turkiye." (ILKHA)
