“Persecutors always attacked our mosques and to us at every period of the time”
Making a Kurdish speech in the program, vice president of HUDA PAR Bahattin Temel said the massacre committed in Susa wasn’t the first. He added that: “We have been massacred in the mosques in the past. Our mosques and masjids were destroyed. Persecutors have always attacked our mosques and to us at every period of the time. We have been being massacred in the mosques since the beginning of our history. And still, the bombs blast and weapons are being fired at every inch of Islamic lands.”
“The descendants of Mongolians have turned our soil into red in Kurdistan”
Reminding the times when the Mongolians devoured Islamic cities and turned the soil into red, Temel said: “Mongolians particularly attacked our mosques and slain Muslims. These Mongolians have returned our lands again. The descendants of Mongolians have turned our soil into red in Kurdistan. They target our mosques and masjids in purpose. Have a look at Cizre, Sur, Nusaybin, Silvan and all Kurdistan; you will see how they attack our mosques and masjids.”
“These lands are Islam’s lands”
Pointing at the necessity of following those who got martyred while protecting the mosques, Temel said: “We must protect and preserve our mosques, too; just as our martyrs who shed their blood and gave up their lives for protecting our mosques. That’s why we have to be in the mosques with our children, even if they destroy our mosques when we are in it. These lands are Islamic lands. However our cities, villages are being ravaged these lands are ours. They have been irrigated by martyrs’ blood. We promise to Allah that we will pursue our fight till the last drop of our blood in our body, so we may attain our Lord with a radiant face.”
“They only serve our cause by martyring us”
After Temel’s speech, Omer Celik, the head of Martyrs Caravan Platform, made his speech.
Celik said in his address that: “We must hand this holy flag, which was entrusted with life and blood to us from our Martyrs, to coming generations with a radiant face even if it costs our life and blood, though. The martyrs of holy Islamic cause fulfilled their duties faithfully and thoroughly and they proved their servitude to Allah. We are the seeds of Islam. Our martyrs are the seeds of Islam. You killed 10 people without pity in Susa but thousands of lives came into existence from these seeds. Thousands of Huseyin, Adnan, Haci Ahmet sprouted from these seeds. They only serve our cause by martyring us unwittingly."
The program ended after Mullah Kerbela Sanli’s closing prayer. (ILKHA)
