It is said in the Eid al-Fitr message, sent to media organs by Hizbullah Community Press Office which is signed by Edip Gümüş: “I praise to our Lord that He reached us to the holy Ramadan to utilize the nights, days, especially the precious time of Laylat al-Qadr and joy of Eid. I felicitate the Eid of Islamic world; I pray to our Lord that He leads the Ummah to the paths that will bring them the victories.”
“I congratulate the Eid of families of martyrs and brothers who show resoluteness and bear with patience for a lifetime in prisons”
Exclusively felicitating the Eid of brothers, who are in prison due to their Islamic struggles and incur sufferings, Gümüş said in his message that: “I congratulate the Eid al-Fitr of families of martyrs and their children, the families of our brothers and themselves who show resoluteness and steadiness for a lifetime in prisons, muhajirs and their families who have fallen apart from their beloved ones and brothers who endeavor to lead our people to the right way for days and nights in a time that sedition and evil patrol in our lands.” I wish from Allah to reward them limitlessly at His station.”
“I expressly congratulate our devoted and self-sacrificing sisters’ Eid, I kindly request from them to mention us in their prayers both in verbal and practical prayers”
I expressly congratulate our devoted and self-sacrificing sisters’ Eid, who have become both a father and a mother to their children, left behind by their fathers, and put great effort to raise their children as soldiers for Islamic community after their husbands’ martyrdom or captivity; I kindly request from them to mention us in their implores both in verbal and practical prayers.”
Gümüş went on saying:
“I implore and wish from our Lord that He grants us a period of time in which our brothers in prisons rejoin their families, muhajirs return to their homes and keeping our ranks firm on the way of our cause. I pray and beseech to Almighty God that He bestows us opportunities to perform Hajj or Umrah with my prisoner brothers. Our jailed brothers along with families of martyrs and prisoners are the most precious ones for us. To keep an eye on them and protect them from any troubles are our most ultimate goals. I have the idea that ignoring the families of martyrs and prisoners may occasion Allah’s turn away from us.”
“Need to be more equipped by learning Islam and endeavor to reach the peak in struggle and efforts…”
Underscoring the necessity of working hard to better the society to prevent social corruption, Gümüş said: “I wish from my brothers, who utilize from the spiritual climate of Ramadan by fasting, performing prayers and giving alms to purify them to reach the peak in struggle and efforts for Islam, to take Ramadan as a milestone and promise to our Lord as they try to be well-equipped by reading and learning Islam and on the other hand to push themselves to reach the top of their efforts. As it is known all your efforts and endeavors intend to better the society are insufficient. Thus, I have to indicate that we have to multiply our performance and work hard for days and nights in sincerity.”
“Muslims in severalty, communities and administrators all responsible for Ummah’s current plight in terms of their positions”
Wishing from Allah to create occasions that may lead Muslims to unite against misbelievers in concert, leader of Hizbullah Community Edip Gümüş said at the end of his issued Eid al-Fitr message that:
“As a consequence of the discords, conflicts, contradictions and wars among Muslims, emerge from sensual, personal and national interests, Muslim soils have been occupied and Muslims have been subject of many massacres committed by imperialist powers. We witness to this plight as a whole Ummah. Muslims in severalty, communities, and administrators are all responsible for Ummah’s current plight in terms of their positions. If we don’t work in force to stop the rot, it will cost all of us a lot. I hereby beseech our Lord to create occasions for Muslims to stop shedding their bloods, muster their forces and stand against infidels in unity and solidarity.” (ILKHA)
