According to local media and medical sources, four resistance fighters were killed in a drone strike carried out by Israeli forces in Tulkarem refugee camp. The victims were identified as Muhaimen al-Akhras, Jum’ah Salem, Amran Haroun, and Qusay Okasha.
In the afternoon, a similar drone attack targeted the camp, resulting in the deaths of two women and injuries to three others, including a child. The martyred women were identified as Khawla Abdo, 53, and Baraa Ali, 18, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
Another drone strike earlier in the day in Nur Shams refugee camp injured three individuals, with some sustaining severe injuries.
Amid the violence, the body of Mahmoud Mohamed, a young man from Nur Shams camp, was discovered on a roadway. Eyewitnesses reported that he was shot by an Israeli sniper and bled to death.
In a separate incident, a teenager, Fathi Obeid, was fatally shot by an Israeli sniper in the al-Hadayda neighborhood of Tulkarem refugee camp at dawn.
The Israeli operation began at around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with forces storming Tulkarem refugee camp, imposing a tight siege, and deploying snipers on rooftops. Witnesses reported that snipers fired at any moving target, while bulldozers destroyed roads, cars, stores, and other structures, causing widespread damage to infrastructure, including electricity, water grids, and telecommunications.
Resistance fighters in Tulkarem reportedly retaliated by detonating explosives and firing at Israeli forces during the raid. The Israeli military later expanded its operations to the city of Tulkarem and the Nur Shams camp.
The situation remains tense as the Israeli occupation continues its campaign across the West Bank. (ILKHA)
