In his message, President Erdoğan expressed appreciation for the Foundation’s efforts, commending its contributions to global education and societal development.
“We are providing and will continue to provide the necessary support to our Foundation, whose work we follow with great appreciation and whose successes make us proud,” Erdoğan stated.
The president praised the Foundation’s work in 55 countries, ranging from Kosovo to Colombia, Jordan to Pakistan, South Africa to Azerbaijan, and Afghanistan to Somalia. He lauded the dedication and resilience of the Foundation’s members, including teachers, administrators, and staff, often operating under challenging conditions.
“On behalf of my country and nation, I extend my gratitude to each and every teacher, administrator, and staff of Turkish Maarif Foundation who proudly waves Türkiye's banner of education, often under challenging conditions, and facing great risks and dangers,” Erdoğan remarked.
Highlighting the Foundation’s mission, Erdoğan emphasized its role in promoting Türkiye’s rich educational heritage, implementing both international and local curricula, and fostering virtuous and qualified individuals. He also noted its contributions to enhancing inter-societal communication and understanding.
The Turkish Maarif Foundation operates schools and educational institutions worldwide, aiming to provide inclusive and high-quality education while strengthening cultural and social ties between Türkiye and partner countries. (ILKHA)
