The rally, which was held after Friday prayers at the historical Grand Mosque in Diyarbakır's central Sur district, saw significant participation and fervent calls for action beyond mere condemnation.

The foundation emphasized the importance of supporting resistance efforts in Gaza, as well as in countries like Yemen and Lebanon, which stand in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

During the event, Ömer Çelik, President of the Martyrs Caravan Platform, delivered a poignant speech, framing the plight of Palestine as a critical test for the Islamic world. He criticized the persistent silence of Muslim-majority states and international bodies in the face of Gaza's suffering. According to Çelik, despite widespread public outcry, the international community, particularly institutions like the United Nations, has failed to address Israel’s actions effectively, calling these entities "cruel and merciless."

Cengiz Aydın, speaking on behalf of the foundation, reinforced these sentiments by urging states to adopt decisive measures. He stated: "The crimes committed by the Zionist occupation gangs against humanity must be punished. No crime should go unpunished." Aydın further emphasized that without direct intervention, the scale of violence and suffering in Gaza would continue to escalate.

He called for a reevaluation of global diplomatic approaches, highlighting the ineffectiveness of symbolic condemnations and the necessity for military, logistical, and technological support for resistance movements.

Aydın also criticized the recent Organisation of Islamic Cooperation-Arab League Summit for failing to deliver impactful resolutions, accusing it of adhering to routine declarations instead of implementing actionable policies. He pointed out that international legal frameworks, including those of the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, have lost their enforceability when dealing with Israel.

Aydın emphasized that the existence of the Zionist regime poses a threat not only to Palestine but also to other countries in the region, including Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and Yemen. He warned that this threat could extend to Anatolian lands if concrete actions are not taken. He called for a unified effort to ensure peace and security in the region, stating that the Zionists only understand the language of power.

He also urged for immediate legislative action on the dual citizenship law for Zionists who are Turkish citizens and have committed genocide in Gaza. “This law has been pending in the Turkish parliament for a long time and needs to be enacted without further delay,” Aydın stressed.

In his concluding remarks, Aydın outlined a series of demands:

-Immediate action by Islamic states to halt the violence in Gaza.

-Formation of regional alliances to counter Israeli expansionist policies.

-Recognition of Hamas as the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.

-Implementation of international resolutions for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the reconstruction of affected areas.

-Boycott of products supporting Israel and an end to trade with Israel, particularly oil shipments.

-Enactment of a dual citizenship law targeting Turkish-Israeli citizens implicated in alleged genocide.

The Prophet’s Lovers Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to the Palestinian cause, pledging to continue its efforts until "every inch of Palestine is liberated." Aydın emphasized that peace in the region could only be achieved with the dismantling of the Israeli occupation. (ILKHA)
