The Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) issued a statement asserting that the U.S. claims are part of a concerted effort to undermine the government's humanitarian efforts. The commission emphasized that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia is the primary obstacle to aid delivery, engaging in looting, detention, and besieging those in need.

The HAC provided data to support its claims, stating that it had granted numerous permits for aid deliveries and facilitated the entry of humanitarian workers. Additionally, the government has allocated significant funds to support relief efforts.

Despite these efforts, the ongoing conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the RSF continues to hinder humanitarian operations and exacerbate the suffering of millions of Sudanese people. The conflict has led to widespread displacement, food shortages, and a deteriorating health crisis.

The international community has urged both sides to prioritize the needs of the civilian population and to allow unhindered humanitarian access. (ILKHA)
