The event, themed “Be Hope for Orphans and the Needy,” is being held in the exhibition area adjacent to Atatürk Park, and will run from October 23 to October 27, 2024. The bazaar will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, offering a wide range of goods to the public, including hot homemade meals, desserts, clothing, souvenirs, and household items such as glassware.
Organized with the assistance of local philanthropists, the charity bazaar has already attracted significant public interest. Nurettin Teymur, the president of Hope Caravan Association in Batman, expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped make the event possible. In a statement, he emphasized the importance of community involvement and urged all citizens to visit the bazaar and contribute to the cause.
“All the income from the bazaar will be donated to those in need,” said Teymur. “This event has become a tradition for us, and we organize it every year to support orphans and families who are struggling. We invite all of Batman’s residents to participate by shopping and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.”
The charity bazaar showcases a diverse selection of items, from handcrafted goods to delicacies, offering a meaningful way for citizens to give back while enjoying the products on sale. Teymur extended special thanks to the local tradespeople and philanthropists who generously contributed to the event.
As the bazaar continues, Hope Caravan remains hopeful that the citizens of Batman will engage in this charitable effort to provide critical aid to the city's most vulnerable populations. Through collective participation, the bazaar seeks to turn shopping into an act of kindness, with every purchase directly helping orphans and families in need. (ILKHA)
