Citing the words of Sufi mystic Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli, Erdoğan stressed the need for love and respect to guide the country's political landscape. “We must keep the doors open for everyone based on love and respect,” he said.

In a direct appeal to the opposition, Erdoğan urged political rivals to abandon divisive rhetoric and move forward in a spirit of collaboration. “The opposition must abandon the ugly language it has resorted to and turn a new page in politics. We cannot allow greedy politicians to undermine this climate of change,” the president stated, referring to his recent outreach to the opposition CHP after the municipal elections.

Erdoğan warned that a continued policy of tension would harm the nation. “The policy of tensions will be a loss for the nation and the country. The government and the opposition should not fight,” he added.

The president also underscored his government’s commitment to preserving democracy and eradicating terrorism. "We will never tolerate those undermining democracy, and terrorism has no place in Türkiye’s future. We hope this historic window of opportunity will not be lost to personal political ambitions. Our goal is to build a terror-free Türkiye,” Erdoğan declared. (ILKHA)
