The largest operation occurred in the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, where 15 individuals were arrested. Additional arrests were made in the governorates of Ramallah, Salfit, Bethlehem, Nablus, and Qalqilya.
The arrests were reportedly accompanied by widespread home raids, physical assaults, threats against detainees and their families, field interrogations, and the destruction of property.
The joint statement highlighted that since the escalation of violence in October 2023, more than 11,400 detentions have been recorded in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
In addition, the statement noted that Israeli forces continue to detain civilians in Gaza, particularly from northern regions, including women, children, and medical personnel, committing acts of enforced disappearance.
Human rights organizations report that Israeli authorities have refused to fully disclose the identities and whereabouts of detainees from Gaza, making it difficult to determine the total number of individuals being held, which is estimated to be in the thousands. (ILKHA)
