According to the Ministry's statement, two PKK/YPG members were identified and neutralized in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria. Additionally, two more PKK members were killed in the Claw-Lock region of northern Iraq.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to continuing operations aimed at neutralizing PKK militants and ensuring the security of Türkiye's borders.
The operations in northern Iraq and Syria are part of Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to combat PKK and YPG militants, which Ankara considers to be terrorist organizations threatening the country’s security. (ILKHA)
