Amid fierce resistance from Hezbollah, Israeli forces have been attempting to advance across the Lebanese border, adding to the escalating violence.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that one person was killed and nine others were injured following an Israeli airstrike on the town of Al-Maiysera in the Kisrawan District. The casualty count is expected to rise as rescue efforts continue.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported another deadly airstrike in the Barja area of al-Kharroub District, which claimed the lives of four people and left 14 others wounded. Meanwhile, additional Israeli attacks on a residential apartment in Mount Lebanon resulted in the deaths and injuries of several more citizens. Specific casualty figures from this incident are still being confirmed.

Israeli warplanes continued to carry out strikes on multiple locations across Lebanon, with residential apartments and homes being primary targets, according to reports from the Lebanese News Agency.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that a total of 26 people were killed and 144 were injured within the past 24 hours alone, as the Israeli bombardment intensified. The ongoing conflict has devastated many communities, with civilian casualties rising as airstrikes persist across the country.

The violence marks the 20th day of Israel's military campaign in Lebanon, as tensions remain high along the border and both sides continue to exchange fire. The humanitarian situation in Lebanon has become increasingly dire as airstrikes destroy vital infrastructure and residential areas. (ILKHA)
