The incident occurred on Wednesday when the boat, carrying a group of migrants attempting to cross the Aegean Sea, experienced mechanical difficulties. Upon receiving a distress call, the Coast Guard immediately dispatched units to the scene.
The rescued individuals were subsequently transferred to the Ayvacık Repatriation Center for further processing and repatriation.
