These demonstrations, organized to highlight opposition to the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza and the occupation of Palestinian territories, are set to take place across the country, with the central event happening in Diyarbakır this evening.
Yapıcıoğlu is scheduled to attend the “Great Support March for the Aqsa Flood” rally organized by Islamic NGOs in Diyarbakır. Ahead of the event, Yapıcıoğlu took to his social media account on X (formerly Twitter) to invite the public to stand against the injustices being inflicted upon the Palestinian people.
In his post, Yapıcıoğlu underscored the international community's failure to intervene in the genocide occurring in Gaza. “For a year, the entire world has watched a people undergo genocide. The UN and other international organizations have merely observed this massacre,” he stated. He criticized powerful nations for their complicity, accusing them of supporting the "Zionist occupying terrorists" rather than halting the violence.
"Instead of stopping the oppression inflicted on the oppressed from the very first day, countries with the largest armies have chosen to participate in this crime of genocide by providing all kinds of political, economic, and military support to the Zionist terrorists," Yapıcıoğlu wrote, lamenting the global inaction and complicity.
Despite this, Yapıcıoğlu highlighted the resistance of those who continue to object to the oppression and take to the streets to protest. “Those who still retain their humanity have objected to this oppression; they have taken to the streets to stop the cruelty and have voiced their opposition to the tyrant,” he said. The HÜDA PAR leader emphasized the importance of continuing these demonstrations, especially on the anniversary of what he described as a massacre. He urged that the protests should persist "with strength until the genocide and occupation end."
Yapıcıoğlu's message concluded with an invitation to all citizens, particularly members of HÜDA PAR, and people from across the world to join in today’s demonstrations. “I invite all our citizens, especially the free individuals of the Free Cause Party (Hür Dava), and the entirety of humanity to take part in today’s demonstrations and lend their support,” he called.
