In a statement on X, ITTIHADUL ULEMA quoted the Quran: “Do not slacken, do not grieve; you are the most superior if you (truly) believe” (Al-Imran: 139). The message emphasized Nasrallah's unwavering commitment to defending Al-Aqsa Mosque, Al-Quds, and the Palestinian people, stating that he stood resolutely against oppression and injustice.
The union highlighted the broader context of violence, noting that the Israeli regime continues its attacks indiscriminately against Muslims, resulting in the loss of lives, properties, and the desecration of holy sites. It called for unity among Muslims in their ongoing struggle against their oppressors in various fields—material, spiritual, scientific, and military.
ITTIHADUL ULEMA concluded its message with prayers for Allah's mercy on all scholars and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Islam and God's will, quoting, “Allah will complete His light even if the disbelievers do not want it!” (Saff: 8). (ILKHA)
