The attack occurred at approximately 1:35 a.m. and resulted in the deaths of five Syrian soldiers, with one additional soldier reported wounded.

This latest strike follows a series of violent incidents in the region, including an Israeli assault on September 9, which targeted the vicinity of Masyaf in the western Hama countryside, leading to the deaths of 18 civilians and injuring many others.

In response to these continued assaults, Syria has condemned Israel's actions, stating that such aggressive policies threaten to escalate tensions and could lead to a broader conflict, jeopardizing both regional and international peace and security.

The Israeli airstrikes in Syria coincide with a sustained military campaign against southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. Over the past four days, Israeli airstrikes have resulted in hundreds of civilian deaths and injuries.

Reports indicate that several massacres occurred during this period, including an incident on Wednesday night in the town of Younine, northeastern Lebanon, where 23 Syrian workers, including children, were killed when Israeli forces targeted a building housing Syrian laborers and their families.

Furthermore, on Friday morning, Israeli occupation forces reportedly committed another massacre in the occupied Shebaa Farms, claiming the lives of an entire family of nine. (ILKHA)
