Russian air defenses intercept 20 Ukrainian drones in overnight attack

Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 20 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during an overnight attack on multiple Russian regions.

The Ukrainian drones targeted facilities in the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, Smolensk, Oryol, and Kaluga regions.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the air defenses managed to thwart the Ukrainian terrorist attack, preventing any significant damage or casualties.

The Oryol Region Governor, Andrey Klychkov, confirmed the successful interception of two drones in his region. He stated that one drone was jammed by electronic warfare systems, while the other was neutralized by aviation equipment.

Emergency responders have been dispatched to the crash sites to assess the situation and clean up any debris. (ILKHA)
