In a statement shared on his social media account, Erdoğan expressed his deep dismay over the incident, which resulted in the death of a Turkish citizen.

"I condemn Israel's barbaric intervention against a civilian protest in the West Bank and pray for Allah's mercy upon our national, Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi, who tragically lost her life in the attack," Erdoğan stated.

Turkish president emphasized that Türkiye will continue its efforts to end the Israeli occupation and its policies, which he described as genocidal. Erdoğan noted that these actions, which have persisted for nearly a year, have claimed the lives of 41,000 people, including children, young people, and the elderly.

"As Türkiye, we will maintain our efforts on all fronts to stop this occupation and genocide policy of Israel, and to hold Israel accountable for its crimes against humanity before the law," he affirmed.

The statement comes in the wake of escalating violence in the West Bank, where Israeli forces have intensified their brutal assaults against Palestinian civilians. (ILKHA)
