In a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, al-Hayya acknowledged the efforts of the late Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who was known for his strong support of the Palestinian resistance.
During the call, al-Hayya provided an update on the current status of ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, discussed the recent actions of the Israeli regime in the occupied territories, and highlighted concerns over Israeli attempts to alter the situation at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In response, Foreign Minister Araghchi reaffirmed Iran's commitment to standing by the Palestinian people and their resistance. He assured that Iran's newly-elected government would continue to offer firm support to the oppressed Palestinian population. Araghchi emphasized that Iran supports any ceasefire agreement and end to the Gaza conflict that is accepted by the Palestinian people, resistance groups, and Hamas.
Araghchi also praised the 11-month-long resistance of the people of Gaza and Palestinian fighters against Israeli actions, asserting that the final victory would belong to the Palestinian people and that Iran would remain by their side until the end. (ILKHA)
