According to the statement from the Ministry of National Defense, Turkish Armed Forces successfully targeted and eliminated the militants.
“Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 16 PKK terrorists detected in Hakurk, Asos, Gara, and Metina regions in northern Iraq. We will continue unpredictable, unconventional, rapid, and continuous operations to destroy terrorism at its source!” the statement read.
The operations are part of Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and eliminate PKK threats in the region. (ILKHA)
