Magnitude-3.9 earthquake strikes off Türkiye's northwestern coast

The offshore quake took place off the coast of the Ayvacık district of Türkiye’s northwestern Çanakkale, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 10:35 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 39.10778 degrees north and a longitude of 25.72167 degrees east, and a depth of 33.84 km.

There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties after the earthquake. (ILKHA)
