According to the Israeli occupation army, a Palestinian worker struck the guard in the head with a hammer, critically injuring him before seizing his firearm and fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle.
Footage circulated on social media showed the moment when the wounded security guard was evacuated from the site near the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya. In response, the Israeli army launched raids in the area, setting up multiple checkpoints, while Kedumim settlers were instructed to remain indoors and secure their homes.
This incident follows a recent attack where a Palestinian man, 22-year-old Rashid Sedda, was shot dead by extremist Jewish settlers who raided the village of Jit near the Kedumim settlement. The settlers, described by Palestinian security sources as engaging in “organized state terrorism,” were armed with knives, machine guns, and silenced pistols. Another Palestinian man was seriously wounded in the attack, which also saw houses and cars set ablaze. (ILKHA)
