In a statement released on the X platform on Friday, UNRWA highlighted the dire conditions facing Palestinian civilians, particularly in the wake of new evacuation orders issued by Israeli authorities. The agency emphasized that "fear spreads as families have nowhere to go," noting that even those within designated "humanitarian zones" are not safe from the conflict.

The ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, have resulted in the deaths of more than 40,000 Palestinians, with over 92,000 others injured, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, the agency reported that 90% of Gaza's population has been displaced, with famine conditions worsening, particularly in the northern areas of the besieged enclave.

The situation in Gaza remains critical as international organizations continue to call for an immediate end to Israeli aggression and increased humanitarian assistance to address the growing needs of the displaced population. (ILKHA)
