The operation involved the rescue of ten irregular migrants who had been pushed back into Turkish territorial waters by Greek coast guard elements. The migrants were found on a life raft and brought to safety.

In a separate incident, a rubber boat carrying 20 irregular migrants experienced engine trouble near the Datça coast. The Coast Guard promptly intervened, rescuing all the migrants onboard. Additionally, one individual suspected of being a migrant smuggler was detained during the operation.

The rescued migrants have been transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for further processing. (ILKHA)
