Following the prayer, the burial took place at the Cemetery of the Founding Imam in Lusail. The ceremony was attended by Palestinian faction leaders, Qatari officials, and delegations from various Arab and Islamic countries.

During the Friday sermon at the mosque, Sheikh Mohammed Hassan Al-Murrihi prayed for Haniyeh and emphasized the unity of the Muslim world around the Palestinian cause, highlighting the extraordinary sacrifices made by the Palestinian people.

Notable attendees included Mahmoud al-Aloul, Deputy Head of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah), and Jibril Rajoub, Secretary-General of Fatah's Central Committee, who were dispatched by President Mahmoud Abbas.
