In a recent statement, Al Khalili emphasized the importance of providing both financial and military aid to the fighters in Gaza.
"We invite all Muslims to provide funds and weapons to the mujahideen in Gaza fighting against Israel," said Al Khalili. He extended his deepest condolences to the Palestinian people, particularly those in Gaza, who have suffered immense losses due to ongoing Israeli attacks.
Al Khalili expressed optimism for a "glorious victory" despite the severe challenges faced by Palestinians. He urged all Muslims to contribute their surplus wealth to aid the afflicted Palestinian population, declaring such support as obligatory.
At least 37,084 people have been killed and 84,494 injured in Israel’s genocidal aggression on Gaza since October 7.
The Grand Mufti’s appeal highlights the broader call for solidarity within the Islamic community and underscores the critical humanitarian needs in Gaza as the conflict continues. (ILKHA)
