Abu Obeida also accused the Israeli government of sacrificing its soldiers for political purposes, referring to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's alleged machinations and the interests of his extremist government.
A video clip released by Al-Qassam Brigades showed an individual being dragged through a tunnel, purportedly an Israeli soldier. However, the authenticity of this footage has not been confirmed.
