President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan approved the appointments of Ayşe Berris Ekinci, Nuh Yılmaz, and Professor Burhanettin Duran as the new deputy foreign ministers.

Ayşe Berris Ekinci previously served as Türkiye’s Ambassador to Cuba from 2016 to 2021. Nuh Yılmaz, who will also assume the deputy foreign minister role, has been serving as the Chief Foreign Ministry Adviser. Professor Burhanettin Duran, a well-known columnist for Daily Sabah, completes the trio of new appointments.
