Turkish Interior Minister announces apprehension of 544 FETO suspects in "Clamp-15" operation

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the apprehension of 544 suspects in a nationwide operation targeting members of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).

The operation, codenamed "Clamp-15," was conducted across 62 provinces and aimed at individuals allegedly planned by FETO for infiltration into various levels of the Turkish state.

The operation involved collaboration between the Chief Public Prosecutors' Offices, the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), the Directorate General of Security Intelligence and Counterterrorism (KOM), and the Counterterrorism Department (TEM), along with provincial police departments.
