47 migrants, including children, rescued off Izmir coast

The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 47 irregular migrants, including 22 children, from a disabled boat drifting off the coast of Dikili district.

The Coast Guard responded to a distress call and located the migrants whose vessel suffered engine failure. All 47 individuals were brought safely ashore.

Following standard procedures, the migrants were transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management. (ILKHA)
