Speaking at the 5th Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Al-Quds Platform in Istanbul, Qaradaghi began his speech by greeting participants and reminding them that one of Allah's names is "Salam," meaning "peace."

He then criticized the lack of peace and security in Palestine, particularly Gaza. Qaradaghi condemned the ongoing israeli geocide in Gaza that disregard human life and destroy infrastructure. He further argued that the United Nations, established to promote peace after World War II, has failed to uphold its principles in the case of Palestine.

Qaradaghi argued that current international norms and laws have collapsed, replaced by "the laws of the jungle" in Gaza. He called for a "new world order for peace, tranquility, and security."

Specifically, Qaradaghi urged Islamic leaders, particularly Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to establish an international organization similar to the Hilf al-Fudul or the Non-Aligned Conference. This organization would aim to protect the oppressed in Gaza and elsewhere, and halt aggression.

He also proposed the formation of "a global parliamentary alliance" to support Gaza. Qaradaghi emphasized the importance of building on the existing support from Arab and Islamic nations, as well as some governments like South Africa and Brazil.

Qaradaghi recommended establishing a committee to follow up on and implement the decisions of the Al-Quds Platform conference. He envisioned this committee working to achieve justice for the Palestinians, including holding "Zionist criminals" accountable.

Finally, Qaradaghi called on Arab and Islamic leaders to fulfill their "Sharia, national, and humanitarian duty" by supporting the Palestinian cause. He argued that abandoning the Palestinians is a violation of religious and historical responsibility. (ILKHA)
