Yerlikaya, in a statement on his social media account, said that 628 traffic accidents occurred on the eighth day of the holiday alone.

Traffic density has begun to increase again, according to the Minister. He noted that 382,467 vehicles were inspected on the eighth day, with 25,215 subjected to speed and radar checks and 34,407 to other operations.
