The IHO Ebrar team travelled from the capital, Bujumbura, to Nyagumari, where they collaborated with a local partner organization to identify families most in need. These families typically have a monthly income of only $10-15.
Food packages containing enough supplies to sustain a family for two weeks were distributed to 200 families.
"Burundi, with a population of 14 million, is one of the world's poorest countries," said IHO Ebrar Volunteer Abdulvahap Kaplan. "There are many families here who desperately need help. We are grateful to all the donors who have contributed to this Ramadan initiative. Their generosity will make a significant difference in the lives of these families."
IHO Ebrar expressed their appreciation to philanthropists who supported the Ramadan aid project, highlighting the positive impact of their donations. (ILKHA)
