According to the Health Ministry in the enclave, at least 31,988 Palestinians have been killed, and 74,188 others injured since the violence escalated on October 7.

In the past 24 hours, the toll has risen dramatically, with 65 people killed and 92 others injured in Israeli attacks. The situation remains dire, as many victims are still trapped under rubble and inaccessible to rescuers.

The conflict, now in its 167th day, has had devastating consequences for Gaza’s population. 85% of the people are internally displaced due to the ongoing war. Critical shortages of food, clean water, and medicine exacerbate their suffering. Additionally, 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure lies in ruins.

The International Court of Justice has accused Israel of genocide, prompting an interim ruling in January. Tel Aviv has been ordered to cease genocidal acts and ensure the delivery of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza. (ILKHA)
