The organization is focusing on providing food parcels, iftar dinners, and cash assistance to those in need, particularly in areas affected by recent earthquakes and the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
"We have programmed our aid work both at home and abroad," said Cengiz Kurtaran, President of Hope Caravan Foundation. "We distributed food parcels in Afghanistan, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, and various African countries, as well as camps in Bangladesh and Arakan."
Hope Caravan is also prioritizing aid to earthquake-stricken regions within Türkiye. They have already distributed food parcels and plan to prepare iftar meals in some container cities.
"We want to spread the blessings of Ramadan to our brothers and sisters," Kurtaran added.
The organization is appealing to philanthropists to donate their fitrah, zakat, alms, and donations to support their Ramadan efforts. These funds will be used to meet the needs of those in need around the world.
Hope Caravan is also continuing to provide iftar meals at eight locations in Palestine and plans to distribute clothing to children there for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr. They are also addressing food and water shortages in Gaza by setting up water tankers.
"We expect support from our benefactors to reach more people," Kurtaran concluded. (ILKHA)
