Altun took to a social media platform on Saturday to accuse Netanyahu of attempting to conceal historical atrocities committed against innocent civilians under his leadership.
He accused Netanyahu of committing historic massacres against innocent civilians and asserted that no amount of misinformation could cover up his alleged crimes. He labeled Netanyahu a disgrace to his country and stated that history has already judged him as the most disastrous leader for the region and his own country.
Altun drew a sharp contrast between leaders prioritizing peace and prosperity, citing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as an exemplary figure tirelessly working to improve citizens' lives and foster good relations with neighbors.
He accused leaders like Netanyahu of sacrificing universal values and decency for selfish political goals, resulting in plans that perpetuate injustice and destroy lives.
Altun predicted a tarnished legacy for Netanyahu, asserting that history would remember him as a failed figure responsible for dashing hopes for peace in the region.
He reiterated Türkiye's opposition to Netanyahu's policies and promised unwavering opposition to lies, deception, and attempts to change the narrative. Under President Erdogan's leadership, Türkiye stands firmly for truth, justice, and decolonization in Palestine, actively working toward a fair two-state resolution and expressing continuous solidarity with Palestinian communities.
Altun's comments follow previous remarks by President Erdogan, who likened Netanyahu and his administration to "Nazis of our time" due to alleged "humanitarian crimes" committed in Gaza.
Altun's statement reflects Türkiye's firm stance against what it perceives as Israeli aggression and injustice, as well as its commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause under President Erdogan's leadership. (ILKHA)
