In press remarks on Thursday, Sheikh Salah said that “the Aqsa Mosque, like the Holy Qur’an, does not accept distortion or falsification and it will remain so until the Hour of Judgment.”

Sheikh Salah stressed the need for frequenting the Aqsa Mosque every month and reflecting on its Islamic history and stature.

Recently, young people from Jerusalem and 1948 occupied Palestine launched a campaign dubbed “My Prayer at the Aqsa Mosque” to urge and encourage their compatriots to march en masse to the holy site for prayers, retreat and reading the holy Qur’an, especially during Ramadan. (ILKHA)
